Adi Farms was established by the farmers Joseph and Dahlun Lin in 2005. It is located in Pittsgrove in Salem Country, New Jersey. The farm has 12 tillable acres out of 18 acres. Since 2006, Adi Farms has been certified organic by NJDA, which means that our fields and growing practices meet federal organic standards and that our farm is inspected by a NJDA-certified inspector and reviewed by the NJDA organic certification committee every year.
Our goals are to consistently provide clean, fresh, nutritious, and the best tasting organic produce at a reasonable price, to improve soil fertility by organic farming techniques and practices, and to make the environment sustainable for generations. In other words, we are committed to providing a high-quality, safe food supply, and to protecting our ecological system rather than overriding it. It's our stewardship ethic toward the soil, the earth, and ultimately for mankind. Our goal is not only to be financially profitable but also ecologically and socially beneficial.
Because most of our crops are set as transplants or direct seed on plastic mulch and raised with drip

irrigation, we grow the cleanest possible organic produce. Since the nutritional value and freshness of produce declines while on supermarket shelves, our farmers harvest daily to provide customers the freshest and most nutritious produce. Without synthetic pesticide and fertilizers, using cover crops, green manure, certified organic compost, and crop rotations to fertilize our soil, our organic produce tastes better than conventional produce. We utilize biological control, crop rotations and other techniques to manage weeds, insects and diseases. Our focus is on working with the environment and maintaining the balance of our ecosystem as a means of growing organic produce.

We raise livestock in an organic system that allows each animal access to pasture while eliminating the use of synthetic hormones, antibiotics, and other technological quick fixes. This system also enhances soil organic matter.
